If you access Guider via SSO you will need to contact your company's/organization's IT team to help you change your password.

Changing your password on Guider is a simple process. Whether you're updating it for safety reasons or just want a new password, here's a step-by-step guide on how to change your password on Guider:

Step 1: Log In

  1. Log in to your Guider account using your current credentials (username/email and password).

Step 2: Access Account Settings

  1. Once logged in, navigate to your account settings. This can be found by selecting your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Select "Change Password"

  1. Within the settings menu, there should be an option specifically for changing your password. It might be labeled as "Change Password," "Update Password," or something alike. Click on this option to proceed.

Step 4: Reset Password Link

  1. You'll be sent an automated Guider email with a "reset password" link. Select the "reset password" button in the email. *Note, the email may get sent to your junk folder.

Step 5: Enter New Password

  1. Enter a new password and select confirm. You'll be redirected back to the login page.

Step 6: Log in

  1. Use your new password to log back into your Guider account.

Tips for a Strong Password:

  • Aim for a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

  • Avoid using easily guessable information like birthdays or common words.

  • Regularly update your password to enhance security.

Troubleshooting:

If you encounter any issues while changing your password, such as forgetting your current password or facing technical difficulties, Guider typically provides options for password recovery or contacting support. Look for "Forgot Password?" or "Need Help?" links on the login page or within the account settings for assistance.
