Step-by-step guide on creating a mentor profile

  1. Register an account with Guider using your professional email and a secure password

  2. Create your profile by filling out your personal details, your current job title and location.

  3. Upload a professional photo of yourself. You can do it right away by clicking “Choose Picture”, or add it later under “Profile”.

  4. Select a program you would like to be a mentor in. For example, “Developmental Career Mentoring Program”.

  5. Select “Be a mentor” on that program’s page

  6. Create your mentor profile

    1. Select, from the list, skills you are happy to mentor others - it can be specific or broad personal development areas

    2. Describe your background, passions and expertise for mentees to find you as their best match. You can include your education, previous job experiences, your career path, hobbies, and values.

    3. Explain your motivations for being a mentor in this program.

  7. Review and publish your profile
